AIE Unveil NEW Lightweight UAV Engine at AUVSI Xponential 2016

AUVSI Xponential 2016, the number one event for every professional in the unmanned systems industry is the perfect setting for the exciting unveiling of a brand new revolutionary UAV engine from UK based innovators, AIE (UK) Ltd.

At long last, UAV developers finally have access to an incredibly lightweight, compact and high powered engine that uses ground-breaking patented technologies to achieve longer range, low vibration, increased take-off and climb capability with long lasting engine life – all for a low total cost of ownership.

This versatile new 650CS Wankel Rotary Engine now makes its exciting debut during the 4 day Xponential 2016 show at the Advanced Innovative Engineering booth #2028 from 2 May – 5 May 2016 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Marking the new engine launch event, AIE representatives will demonstrate the function and rationale behind the 650CS revolutionary technology such as the Compact SPARCS cooling system unique to AIE rotary engine production which delivers unrivalled performance above other oil or air-cooled rotary engines.

Also at booth #2028 will be AIE’s Business Development Manager, Alex Vaughn who comments “We’re extremely pleased to be unveiling our new 650CS rotary engine that has been developed specifically to meet the demanding needs of unmanned system platforms. With patented technologies we are able to eliminate the drawbacks associated with previous rotary engine operation for a reliable engine that is so lightweight and compact, it can easily be integrated into a range of UAV platforms. So we are welcoming all, visitors and exhibitors, to our booth to see how the 650CS provides significant aerodynamic advantages and reliability.”

The 650CS 120hp rotary engine will be on display for the full 4 days of the Xponential event where visitors can witness first-hand it’s surprisingly compact size and learn more about how bespoke propulsion projects involving AIE revolutionary technology and manufacturing capabilities can benefit their UAV applications.
